Reference Library
The SBDAA's Reference Library consists of business-related books and periodicals, daily newspapers, three (3) personal computers with Internet access for patron use, and a printer.
The Library’s book collection is arranged in easy to use categories:
- Computers – titles on software, networking, and hardware
- Global – information about importing/exporting and conducting business on a global scale
- Legal – information to assist with establishing businesses, partnerships, etc.
- Finance – tools to aid in business finances
- Management – books about varied aspects of business management
- Marketing – information about special markets, social networking, etc.
- Special interests – information about very specialized business interests, e.g. family-owned businesses, children in business, how-to start particular businesses

Resource Center and Reference Library Available Resources
The RCRL offers a variety of resources for patron use:

Books and periodicals collections — 500 books and subscriptions to various newspapers and business magazines. Books can be reserved by request by telephone or over the Internet.
Personal computers — Three (3) personal computers (PCs) running Windows 7 operating systems with Internet connectivity for use by its patrons.
Wireless Internet connection — Wireless Internet connectivity that patrons can utilize to access their own laptops, iPads, or other mobile devices.
Business software — The PCs have current versions of the most frequently used business software:
- Microsoft Word 2010
- Microsoft Excel 2010
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
- Microsoft Access 2010
- QuickBooks
Audio podcasts — instructional podcasts to assist small businesses on key topics.
Printer — Wireless printer connected to the Library PCs for document printing.
As a courtesy and economic consideration, we recommend that patrons who have e-mail access send longer documents to their own e-mail account so they can be printed at home or their place of business.

Business Databases Available
RCRL makes a variety of databases available to its patrons through the JerseyClicks service.
CollectionMerchants Solutions Are available through any Personal Computer (PC) in the RCRL. Each RCRL PC is authenticated for login access to JerseyClicks. You may be able to access the JerseyClicks site through your local library website. Check with your local library for more information.

Business Funding Source® Premier offers indexing and abstracts for the 350 most important scholarly journals back to 1965 or the first published issue. This database includes searchable cited references for 1,205 journals.

This database provides comprehensive industry and market research articles to encourage growth and empowerment. Frost & Sullivan employs over 45 years of experience in partnering with Global 1000 companies, emerging businesses, and the investment community from more than 31 offices on six continents.
ReferenceUSA
Provides detailed, current directory information on more than 12 million U.S. Businesses, 102 million U.S. residents, 683,000 U.S. healthcare providers, 1 million Canadian businesses and 11 million Canadian residents.
Regional Business News
This database provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications. Regional Business News incorporates coverage of 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. This database is updated on a daily basis.
